Item Distribution ?

I and many others are confused on this option in Party mode. They give you three different setups and none seem to be taking effect. I assume though that anyone can pick up drops, but the drops will be assigned in a given order no matter who picked it up. Is that right? I see more people use "Finder taker" thing and dont get why since that promotes ninja looting.

I enjoy the setting
Non-Rare: Turn-Based
Rare: Random
But finder taker is nice sometimes too, but yeah ninja looting sucks sometimes but it is a part of phantasy star =P

For non-rare items the distribution is transparent. When someone picks up an item, there's no notice or anything to who exactly it went to. With rare items (7 Star or higher) there will be a scrolling notification.
