A few reliable sources are stating that PSO Xbox will support custom soundtracks... What tunes would you churn out if this rumor becomes a reality?

...I already have a custom sound track, since my surround sound and sub from my comp are crossed with my surround and sub from the X-box/whatever other console I'm playing. =X
But if I wanted, I'd throw some j-pop in and enjoy it in-game.
Definetly a mix of ambient techno, rock/punk/metal, some piano interludes, and a touch of j-pop.
P.S. I must be doing something right, my second post after returning got removed! XD

That would've been my second choice... You an Oakenfold fan?
I wouldn't mind play PSOX to the tune of JSR and JSRF. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Seeing as I'm still not sick of hearing PSO's BGM after thousand of hours of play, I think I would stick with them.
That's not a small feat.
I can't think of any other music I have that would resist the usual boredom of listening to it a hundred of times.
I don't want to be changing the music every 2 days because I can't bear hearing it again and again.
Otoh, maybe some will find other game music that will fit right in PSO. I'll check the posts about them and try then.
I've already got a Rock/Metal/Techno/Game Music soundtrack ripped and ready on my Xbox. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif
I use it during MotoGP.

that genre list is lacking....what about the ukrainian gypsy punk cabaret, satano-anarcho squatter punk, jungle power pussy punk and other key important sub-classifications?
yeah, the soundtrack feature (gotta love it) will be nice for this game, let's face it, the music was always not the hottest thing for pso...
well i have yet to get sick of the new Johnny Cash and Mindless Self Indulgence live record... so they'll be making their way to the HD soon

I will just use the same CDs that I listen to now with PSO(using my CD player, I listen to my music instead of the PSO music[I don't really like the music that much]).
That said, Rob Zombie works well with PSO =P

Wouldn't it be a tough decision to mute people who you were playing with who were bumping their music a little too loud and of a type you didn't like, while losing the ability to communicate with them.
I know it wouldn't be constant noise due to bursts of communication but it would bother me to have music on and try to talk or try to talk to someone who had their music on too loudly.
If I'm wrong about any of this, tell me since I know little about the XBOX headset communicator included with the $50 XBOX Live starter kit(how it works mainly).

I believe that the microphone is a noise-canceling one.

As long as you don't have the microphone pressed against your pounding speaker it won't interfere with anyone's game. This has proved useful for MechAssalut whilst I play my Rammstein. The mic only seems to pick up the closet sound (Your voice). But I don't think anyone should be playin their music so loud that it would annoy others (The police would be called out b4 it got that loud).

how can you get sick of JFA and Public Enemy in THPS4?
although i have found Misfits collection II, DK's fresh fruit for rotting vegetables to be great THPS albums
DJ_Monkey

I must disagree...THPS4 has one of the only game soundtracks that I actually listen to instead of my own music. Run DMC(long live JamMasterJay), System of a Down, and the Sex Pistols make for some great gaming music =P

Other game and movie soundtracks. A couple tracks from Batman worked really nice when I played the DC version with the music turned off and my stereo playing other CDs. I have some rock songs already on my Box but I doubt hey would fit. Instrumental music is great!
