The latter(you said it not me). All you have to do is put the stuff in the box on the wall directly behind your PM and any character on the account can access it.

the common box don't work in Extra mode, makes me sad, as I have a cast who can use a SUV, but can't get one, and a newman that has a SUV, but can't use one >__< COOPER SMASH! *somehow does a nanoblast without being a beast and destroys extra mode's unusable common box*
