Total Noob Question about locking on.

OK, in PSO I had a high level force. I could kill a Hildebear with Foie faster than you could blow a snot rocket.

Anyway, with my Beast Hunter using a spear I press and hold my left trigger to lock on. I just hold it down and my beast stays locked on to that monster until I've killed it.

Now with my Force, I hold down the left trigger and nothing. Can forces not lock on anymore like they could in PSO? Am I doing something wrong?

UPDATE

OK, I've tried using a saber with my force and I can lock on with that, but not with my wands or my rods.

I hope Sega fixes this.

You can't lock on witha techs.

yeah, it takes skill to be force in PSU XD its fun though,a nd you dont need to spend money on healing items cause of resta! YAY!

The only way to aim techniques is to straife.

Spells in the Ra- series lock on the enemy.

How are you supposed to hit flying things then? I can't seem to hit those little brown dragons with anything.

Pull out a ranged weapon and activate scope.

Strafing is your aiming.

That and you can go first person, obviously first person you have no ability to move or manually dodge.

dude, forces can use bows...thats their awsome range weapon. i changed back to hunter cause its eaasier and faster..
