yeah the only problem with beast is thier ata (even though i know they don't miss like crazy) and thier skill power is pretty low. But then again Cast sounds good they have high ata second best atp best def low skill power and low magic resistance. newmans....uhh. Humans are balanced so they sound pretty good. I can't make up my mind. Ive made like 11 different characters

The designers of the game intended for the beast race to be the de-facto hunter race.

Beasts or casts either one would make a good hunter.

pick what you like, but if you're a Newman, you might not be as good as the other 3 races.

yeah im actually going beast. i tried a run with one using twin sabers and i only missed a shot 3 times! its unbeliveable.
but yeah beast is deffinetly for me ^_^

Apart from neither of the better stat'd hunter races - Cast or Beast can use the funky Clair weapons.

So bit of balancing going on there.
