Whats better in your guys opinion. i've only really seen nanoblast in action and not so much SUV. this is basically deciding whether to make my Hunter Beast or Cast. IMO casts make better hunters but thats just me.

SUV: Debuffs, moderate AoE damage.
Nanoblast: 20 seconds of God Mode, Berserker Rage mode, or 4-eyes mode. This usually out does SUV in the first two seconds... the other 18 are burst damage.

Now, the trick is to get all those hits from Nanoblast to land... >___>

EDIT: I don't know where 20 seconds came from. It's more like 60 seconds.

Increases Evasion.

Nanoblast is ALOT better than SUV. It lets you move around and hit more enemies, and you can even kill off multiple groups. SUV just hits a few enemies (unless they move, then you're screwed) and lasts for 4-5 seconds.

how often does the charge for SUV and nanoblast go off? it all depends on how much dmg you take right?

Depends on damage given and damage taken. On some maps I've been able to use SUV twice in a full party.

Depends on how much damage you do and take.

And I presonally like my SUV weapon better than the Nanoblast. The SUV knocks the enemies back, and hits for a good deal of damage.

The Nanoblast leaves you vulnerable because of the lack of knockback, and you can't be healed while you're in Beast form.

The parties on Relics B I do all the time, the Beasts Nanoblast once half-way, and again for Svaltus. I don't know if they use it right when it activates, or if they hold it a while, but it seems pretty often.

That's a lie. >.>

And who needs knockback when the Nanoblast'd Beasts can toss enemies into the air, and land each and every hit for 300ish? o.O

I was playing in the Beta, and when we were fighting De Ragan, the Force was pretty much INSIDE the Beast spamming Resta so he wouldn't die during his transformation, and nothing was happening. Maybe it was just his type of Blast Badge?

Meh, I like my big guns.

SUVs also have the added benefit of versatility. You're free to swap out the extra slot unit with another and you won't lose your charged up bar. I wouldn't go around carrying a dozen SUV units or anything, though. I find pairing a narrow-attack type for use on single, tough enemies with a spread attack type for spread out mobs to be a good combination.

Ooh, really? I was always too afraid to try switching it up... didn't want to lose my bar. That's really nice to know that I can switch between broad and focused SUVs for no penalty.

SUV vs. Nanoblast? From the 'powergaming' point of view, nanoblast seems just plain better. I prefer SUVs, though... silly giant beasts.

I don't know, it's well balanced when you think about it.

Nanoblast has raw power and freedom to roam around unleashing hell on whatever you can get your paws on, and SUV has simply insane firepower when used wisely at the right time. I guess it shows what they want to convey when it comes to the ''personnality'' of the beasts and the CASTs. One being an untamable beast, the other being a logical calculator :p

I use my SUV and, at lv20 (hunter lv1 ranger lv3), I end up doing 120-140 per hit ... but I hit, 6 or more targets at the same time, and I hit 3-4 times per seconds. so? Do the maths.
