Ive had 6 items now, break when there was a "High" chance of success...

Should I just stop at high? I mean, apparently it must be alot lower chance then it seems to be.

(Im on the most luky race/gender for today, usuing grinder c+3's and it always breaks going from grind 4 --> 5)

I used a grinder plus six on a very high for my Brand. Needless to say, papa didn't like the results. Fortunately I had money lying around for a buster and upgraded. MY advice? Don't grind without a replacement on hand or available, or you'll be left crying.

I won't even attempt this until I have a lot of extra money... I even get breaks trying for 2 sometimes.

Your luck for the day also has an effect on the success of grinding. I'm not sure if the luck, however, affects what the shop attendant says, though. For best results, wait for a day you're particularly lucky.

A grinder +3 is pretty shit tbh, if you are grinding high then use grinders at +6 or above, it may take longer to produce high value grinders but you will get less failures.

Luck has a significant effect on success rate.

today I grinded my brass knuckles to +7 with a grinder+4 and a +3. Worked fine.

If you have available character slots, you can just create a dummy character that is super lucky on that particular day and have them grind the item for your main character.

I don't grind past 'guaranteed' on an important weapon.

Wait till you have high luck to grind and wait for high luck to make grinders

One of my friends had level 2 luck, the person at the upgrade desk said there's "no chance for failure"... And then broke his weapon.

Regardless of your luck and what the shopkeep says, there's always a chance the weapon will break.

Yeah, I broke a damn Calibur after 3 grinds, then had to make another.

Very high, my foot.
