Is there a guide of some sort that says where what items are

So far, I've been limited to what I can buy in shops. I'd like to have the option of hunting for items instead of buying them, but that would involve knowing where what is found. Has somebody collected all this information in one area, or should I just go by trial and error?

Yea uhm...that would be friggen great....if the damned thing told you where you actually GET the items. All it does is tell you the description and how rare it is online/offline. Not a whole helluvalot of help when it comes to farming the bloody thing.
