Does anyone else get a small delay when hitting with weapons [Archive]

Everytime I hit something with a weapon, my character freezes for a split second. Does anyone else get this?

It's just an effect of the game.

Meant to be dramatic but just makes things seem choppy. It's been a trend for a number of years now.

you know i never noticed this. i guess cause i've never been able to play any game at highest settings on my PC so i just assume its FPS lag lol
