The deal with extra mode is that it sucks. All it is, is the free missions you can do with Ethan, but with your own characters

its not that bad, it gives ppl a way to play offline with their own characters...

I know i was disapointed when i heard that PSU would not let you make your own char for story mode but now, extra mode kinda solves that problem

I use extra mode for prepping myself for network mode. It sucks you can't take this online >.<
