Whoa, WTF?

So I just synthesized a spear, and when I hit "take out," and it said it suceeded, it gave me a Zodiaride. WTF?

PS: It isn't in my storage.

Yeah, I tried making a spear with light photon today, but it failed. It made a sound I like to call a "oh crap" sound and my PM said the synthing was a failure. I got a buff item too, but it wasn't Zoliaride. It was the MST and TP booster. Out of curiousity, did you add Lighting Photon to your spear?

Yeah, I've noticed sometimes when synthing with Gra-Photons you end up with a Zodaride. I guess that would count as a failed synth but at least you get something right?

i have never failed synthing anything exept dual daggers once with light photon

I personally get lucky with synthing. I won at synthing a Busterline when it had a 55% chance of success. I love it.

Never had that happen to me. 2 failures so far on making wands the rest (best so far 2 Partizans) have been complete sucesses ^_^. Dunno what to tell ya about that sound though that is odd.

LoL...yeh Synthing can be annoying, but typically in the long run saves a fortune...I've failed a few times now too...but I haven't really done anything too risky yet...so far all my Synths are above 70%

I'm 1/4 on those. Failed all three in a row and had to buy a second board. About an 8% chance of that happening at 56% each.

Fortunately my luck with grinding has been much better, and I'm disappointed if I don't find 4 rares in each mission. Male Newmans have been spoiled with good in-game luck so far. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

My friend just failed a synth for the Vullseye. Complained alot about synthing after that, but I mean... He has 2 more tries at it. Just needs to get the mats.

Alot of people don't seem to understand what the Ore, Wood, and Metal upgrade synth boards are for at the G Colony synth shop. Things are alot easier when using those, especially if you have low characters that always get these types of items.
