Check your prices!! Do not even try to sell Neu Wood for 400m. It's a waste of your time and mine. When selling something, find out if a vendor sells it for cheaper. You can make a huge margin over vendor and still have your customers pay less than they would from vendor. Everyone wins.

I usually price the stuff I find 40% of what it costs to buy it in the store. I used to do 70% and it worked for awhile until more people got stores.. so.. 40% it is now.. =P Better to sell some than sell none!

I don't understand what'll prevent Phantasy Star Universe from having tens of thousands of shops to sort through in the future.

Shops seem unlimited by time, they seem to remain open when you sign out, and there seems to be no time-limit on each product you put for sale.

Essentially, you could get a few hundred people selling monomates for 9999999 and clogging up the searches.

As long as the ad is valid (i.e., advertising clothing and furniture, but not actually selling any is a big turn off), I think it'll be okay.

I have no idea how the recommended shop function works since it will either bring up 0 shops, then the next search will bring up a shop with nearly nothing in stock and at super high prices.

actually nothing and thats the reason that placing pso-world in your tag is a great idea because, if you place example pso-world exo then people will visit and buy plus if for some reason the shop has crazy prices then we simply can avoid it altogether plus once you find 3-5 shops that you really like their is no need for the others.

If any of you have played WoW, I think the economy will probably work the same. There will be those cocks that try and sell things for ungodly prices. Then there will be those really cool people (or people who have no clue) that have crackhead prices http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif. I tend to be in the middle to crackhead prices. I figure if I can get more than what I can from the NPC's, I made a profit. If it took me a long time to create an item like a wep or armor, then I will sell it so that I can make more than what I put into it.

I don't know if It would help you. Best to just put what you want that you think would attract customers. If someone has bad deals and they put PSOW in their ad then people will start to avoid those shops. It's not somthing you want to do.

Bought a Scepter (4 Stars) for 3k yesterday, the average price is 5k with a price range of 4k to 6.5k (and some for 11k, from people with no clue). That is lower priced then the board itself. But you know what that was smart on the part of the seller too, since you can make 5 of them and he had a phase 2 PM on it's way to being a 450 (or some other caster item constructor friendly build). Was very happy with that and I think he'll make alot of money by being reasonable with the cost (especially he had 3 for sale at that price and I'd assume he might have more).

Wish I remembered his name, but I know it's on my last visited list.....I'll be happy to post his name on here for all to see and maybe check out his shop.
