Question about Casts and Techs

This is a two part question.

1. Be honest. Are Cast Forces really as bad as everyone says?

2. Would it be a mistake to create a Cast Wartecher?

My friend was gonna make a Cast Figunner til he found out he couldn't use rifles.

Honestly, this game is pretty forgiving for "off-specs" as some people call it. Any race/class combo should be viabale no matter what....so you shouldn't let others dictate for you what you should or should not be.....give it a go and see what you like.

Will you take a stat hit on Cast ...er.. casting? yes......Will it make you gimp? Only if you let it.
