Extra Mode S ranks?

I've been trying to get an S rank in each mission before moving on to the next one but I think I've come across a problem. Can you even get an S rank in extra mode??? I've run Linear Line until I'm Level 12 and still can only get A rank.

Do I just suck? >.<;

I have it into an 8 minute run killing all monsters that I can find (and I have looked all over the place too). I'm wondering if it's more time than it is monsters because they can't die any faster until I can 1-shot em.

You have to go REALLY fast to get an S rank in extra mode, since all the missions are timed.

In order to get one I had to not break open any boxes (thus saving me 2 minutes on my total time from switching out weapons, breaking open boxes and grabbing the items in them).

EDIT: Oh and also, generally the score is composed of 700 points time, 300 points monsters. So check your final results and if they aren't an even 1000 points, work on that area.
