Does it matter what level my Hunter is for Wartecher?

I'm probably going Wartecher when Extra Classes are released, and my Hunter level is nearing 3, the minimum for it. PA for the Wartechers' weapons aside, would it matter what level my Hunter is at when I go Wartecher? Like, would ATP be higher for me if my Hunter was level 10 instead of leaving it at 8 (when I go Wartecher of course)? Or are there no benefits?

As far as I'm aware, there are no benefits. Class levels only benefit that class in particular, aside from their ability to unlock the expert classes in a future patch.
