There are several different synth items.

Not everyone is selling them in bulk.

I was selling one in bulk. My friend wanted in on it. But he started selling a DIFFERENT one.

I told my other friends about it, and now 2 of us are selling the one, and two another.

I said "Get your own" because there are others you can sell.

It's not taking them out of the market. Anyway my friends have evened it out so there isn't any flooding. It makes good business sense to have your own market if it exists, and not to go jumping on anyone else's toes.

Why? Cause if you saturate a market you only get half the share. Rather than the full share if you found something else.

ecxcal started to flood drastically and sales really did go down. For all of us, as excal got his share.

If excal found his own market, he'd make more.

I don't give a crap how poopular I am on this forum. We never set out to be popular. Most of my friends think this forum has become fairly idiotic. I used to like it here, it used to be important, but now it's just somewhere to post the odd bit of info and otherwise, we really do, I admit, troll stupid threads. I thought I was hated here, but a dozen or so people in-game have been nice to me because oif the way my character looks of all things, and several people have stopped in the shop just to see it and ended up buying stuff.

I made my character look like an absolute flaming homosexual. It is both amusing and pretty cute. People like it. I don't care for what reasons, all I know is it attracts visitors to my shop. I was just being matter of fact. OK, I was being a bit of an asshole, but still, I was just saying matter of fact that some people MIGHT check my shop before others.

I'm not running a business with some group of friends trying to own the market. I sold this stuff for one day then felt a bit selfish, and told all my friends what to sell. Then, my shop was taking up all my game time. It was one run then "I have to go to my shop." So I actually got Drew to sell the same thing as me, to halve my profit but ease my workload so I could ACTUALLY PLAY WITH HIM. I did it for no other reason than that. We aren't running a cartel, OK we are a little but only because none of us is stepping on each others toes. And one of us (Avaris) already wants to be selling something a bit different because he wants his own market.

I have to say I do not really understand people who don't want to try a bit of a risk and set up their own market, especially as most of this stuff is stuff we can all use in game anyway. If it makes no profit you can use it.

And as for pimply faced fast food employee, my internet business pays for me to live in Japan legally. That's all I really care about. Not being rich, but being happy in a country I love and I've sustained myself here for 2 years. You can cast doubts on my personality and appearance all you like but you really do not know me at all.

i dont even have PSU yet cos i live in the UK but seriously its ment to be a game and your talking about having good business sense?

is it just me thats a little worried about that?!

how many different types of metal are there that are actually worth selling?? as a guess maybe 10-20 so that would mean that if we was to go by your rules and have a seperate shop each so we can "make more business" that there would only be 20 shops??? thats not the case is it everybody who plays PSU will have their own shop and more than likely there is alot of people who are going to sell the same items as you.

a point to remember here Shimarisu is that this IS ACTUALLY A GAME, its not real life, remember that eventually you will have to go outside into the real world and see your "friends", go to work/college/school. your PSU reputation isn't gonna help you earn REAL money is it http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Ill just say, people who purposly price things 30% cheaper then everyone else JUST to get rid of it are complete dicks, and should stick with market prices to wait it out, instead of messing it up for not only themselves but everyone else.

I saw someone selling b-8 grinders for only 2k, I was like, is this guy smoking crack rocks!? So I went ahead and bought all 15 he had and added to my supply. muhahahaha
