GRM units on Yohmei armor?

At first I thought I couldn't equip my Yohmei units to my GRM armor because they were from different manufacturers. Now, I find that it may be because that armor didn't have any Head slots, whcih the Yohmei unit was. I'm about to buy new armor, and my question is this.. if I buy the Yohmei armor that has both Head and Arm slots, could I equip my GRM Arm units to it?

I have a GRM Megaline shield with a Yohmei Corp. ME/HP Restore extra slot unit on right now.

hmm INCOMING NOOB QUESTION!!!!
Can Beast wear head slots and GRM sheilds? or is this just for CAST/robots? Is this another type of sheild beside the regular chest piece? Thanks for any help!
