Anyway to possibly help finding rappies?

Completely random, i've done somewhere around 100 runs and just saw them for the first time last night in Linear Line, right at the last room, the last mobs for the Trial Clear.

Whats so special about them in this game? Rare drops?

I got a Rappy Feather that I got about 2500 for, and they dropped about.... 200+ Meseta

In the beta I found a group in the Sleeping Warriors mission the second time I played that run. But I bet their harder to find in the full version.

I found my one and only group in sleeping warriors also, solo at around level 16.

I saw my first rappies yesterday, and i was lucky enough to get a feather:) You would think they would sale for me seeing as there pretty rare.

Seen them once in beta in relics, and twice in retail in linear line mission C runs (both in same spots). No rappy feathers in retail, but there were two feathers in relics in beta http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_mad.gif

I've found two on the "Fight for Food C" mission. Both dropped feathers. Only got about 10 hours logged too. So ya, it's just how lucky you are. Get your rabbit's foot out.

I've come across about 4-5 groups of 3 rappies so far. They were all in different missions in different planets.

I've found them when I was in teams with a 'lucky' leader, maybe 2 or 3 times so far. I've got two rappy feathers in storage so far.

Yeah, luck is a major factor in it. I found a few with a regular sparkle, and the rest on the golden supernova sparkle.

I found one about 10 hours, couldn't have been the 3rd run on linear line B. Level 12, 3 feathers dropped and I got one.

umm I got two of them in the same room. Are they all that rare?

They spawn in a group.... and the group spawn is very rare yes....

I've only seen them spawn once on Parum during the beta when I have a 3-star luck as leader.

They can appear in any mission, and I've seen them in every area so far.

I've seen them most often when we had a fair amount of luck in the party, so I'm starting to think there is a pretty strong correlation. The other night we had 3 cast males who had L3 luck, and we ran into rappies on Mad Creatures AND Relics. 4 feathers dropped in total, and everyone but me got one. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

i've found two grousp of rappys both while solo, killed them all and got about 450 meseta from two of them in the first group, and about 500 from one in the second group. sleeping warriors and raffion overlord

I'd like to know the answer to this as well.

I haven't seen any offline yet in the 60 hours I've been playing, so I can only assume they're either extremely super-rare or just not present in the offline modes.

I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't include them offline though. It's looking like there will be alot of things you won't get to experience or collect unless you buy a guardians license.

I think it is related to the luck depending on the time.
