expert class question

so to be a figunner you need lvl 5 hunter and lvl 3 ranger...i'm currently a lvl 5 hunter, so what i'm asking is, when i switch my type, it will save my lvl 5 hunter progress? and i can just work on ranger? then when ranger hits level 3, i can switch back and be a lvl 5 hunter again, with my lvl 3 ranger status saved?

just to make sure though, is hunter's JOB level 5, or is your overall level 5? Job (hunter/ranger/force) levels are seperate.

All expert classes have primary job levels as their requirements (hunter, ranger, force)....your character (or race) level has nothing to do with being an expert class.


Oh and yes, it's specific jobs have to be specific levels, not an average over all of your jobs.
