So I was soloing LL and Leo gets low, he pulls out a staff and starts spamming heals.

I coulda swore I read somewhere each racial helper had a class. Lou(figunner), Leo(Fortefighter), etc etc are all the helpers just able to equip/use anything they want/need for the situation?

Helper NPCs go by offline rules.. pretty much every class offline can equip a Staff..

Lou uses a staff instead of a wand but she only does it when she has yellow hp and about 5%.. so it's still not a good idea to take her into bosses.

Ah it freaked me out, I thought someone entered my game when I wasn't paying attention and started healing me. Its very low though, he only heals for about 150 and he just spams it till hes about at the screenshot's health.

Leo's a fool. Hyuga is worse. End.

Maya at least, heals well. And shes intelligent about it, she'll do it when I've got like 80% and shes almost full.

Not really, it just so happened my friends liked to do S rank missions for cash. Since we never really went over C for the longest we had high class levels and cash. The class xp per hour I guess was great but the money was awesome.

There was no real point in leveling fast, but I wanted the cash. Now I do high rank missions for the drops and to keep my mag from starving to death lol. Once I finish my mag I can do my alt I'll even get to see if Maya is actually good.

At first, she only uses her crossbow, which sucks...

Does she actually hit things at range? Leo stands around till things are litterly slapping him in the face. I normally have to run through monsters to get him to attack.

Monsters need to be up Leo's ass before he does anything.

Exactly hes would be almost 100% worthless to a force but since they have to be beast atleast they can stand in the middle and take hits.

Maya is the same way. She tells everyone to scatter, but she'll stick to you like glue. She'll cast radiga, but usually she'll miss all the enemies. She'll heal, but usually when you have full life anyway. Mostly worthless.

Seem's like only the last NPC is worth salt as she went ahead and got naked.

Depending on your character's race, you get a NPC's partner card after you've completed the tutorial.

Well, at least on S-ranking missions you get to hear Maya say you're wonderful! http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

My traniner Hyrut (however you spell it) does that as well but it's very uncommon though.
