It'd freakin tell you that you lost the materials for it. Such BS. Lost about 10k in mats when i put in the wrong photon.

uh..you can cancel a synth, just just try to take out the item before it's done, you'll have a chance to get back the materials for the synth too...

No, you don't get the materials back, You hit cancel, and it cancels it alright, but it eats your mats.

It has a chance of giving some materials back. How big that chance is is another question.

I agree with Resist. Some people preach of a chance to get the items back, but after cancelling multiple low level synths and not getting back anything ever, I really doubt it.

i've gotten materials back from canceling an armor i was makin so..
