I'm a HUcast and haven't given my PM a single item yet. I need to nkow a few things:

1. Do your stats improve any as a result of what you feed your PM (like in PSO)?

2. If I plan to raise a PM for the sole purpose of helping me in combat, which do you suggest I go for?

3. Let's say I have a pure striking PM. Does this improve my ability to fight melee at all?

Any other hunters who have raised PMs, please provide me with some info... I'm stuck and don't know what to do with my PM...

Your personal stats do not change, though I think how the PM will synth items will be better for the dedication you raise it in.

Production levels on a PM do not affect your stats, but they affect synthesis chances.

Is there any chance of my PM rasing me once I have leveled past a certian level or has fully leveled and take it with me onto battle fields?

Didn't you post this in GameFaqs/Gamespot as well? =)

1) Your stats don't approve. But they increase your synthesizing chance for certain items, depending on how you're raising the PM.

2) I've partnered with players owning different types of PMs and it seems like they all provide plenty of assistance in combat. I myself have the maid striker, and she does reasonable damage and can take a huge amount of punishment before a resta. Someone in my buddy list has the clawbot and she cuts right through stuff. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

3)It doesn't improve your fighting, but it does let you create hunter weapons more efficiently.

Yeah, Ive hardly fed mine too, and I'm lv15. Luckily, I deleted a character, and fed the PM her clothes, which raised armour by quite a lot.

I dont really mind what my PM evolves into, as long as it does eventually evolve http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

If you're more of a solo player, than leveling up your PM is actually a pretty good idea. Firstly, it helps synthesizing rare items and other valuable things a much easier task. Not to mention you can just call your PM in if you're having trouble soloing once you get it to a high enough level.

It's doubly awesome when you team up with not only your PMbot, but your tutorial NPC as well. What's great about that is it lets you solo higher level missions, and all the loot becomes yours automatically. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif

Just don't bring them into boss fights.

Ever.
