It's called Phantasy for a reason people it doesn't have to be based on any system of logic or understanding for that matter. Ever stop to consider that the oh so rare 'sun flower' everyone has a room filled with them now. I wouldn't call that too rare. Not to mention that in order for the guadian colony to say in space it would require some sort of gravitvation pull from another planets orbit yet there's no planet near it.

It's based not to question it and leave the mysteries of hte phantasy there.

The light comes from light-bulbs, and they have found an infinite source of power. Also, light-bulbs that don't burn out.

it gets later in the day the thurther you go in missions, example its sunset after beating the dragon and I would not be suprised for it to hit something near night time in the unreleased area afterwards.

Don't see how any planet can deal with that. No romantic nights. I don't think you would really need a moon. The moon would produce moon light but if you turn off the lights or main lights then it would be dark, leave a few street-like lights on and there you go. Don't need moons.

Would be great if we had some time changes over the course of a day reflected online (but over a shorter rotational cycle in case someone logs on at the same time every day they would see different virtual times of day). Would be a nice effect, but I am not going to hold my breath.

A-photons make everything possible in terms of energy, but to understand its relationship with the planets, you'll just have to play story mode.
