Question, confusion about frame skip.

Since I am currently away at school, I stuck PSU on my laptop and have been able to run it nearly perfect if I adjust the settings a bit and set frame skip to three. But upon doing this I now find that for some reason it now becomes A LOT harder to shoot for some reason. As in there is a delay between the time I hit the button and the time my character shoots or swings. So as a result I am unable to chain my attacks or even shoot at a decent rate when it comes to using my rifles/double hand guns. Or even my hand gun/brand combo.

Anyone know of a fix to this? And no I do not play PSU on my laptop all the time, as when I go home I have access to a very nifty Desktop which plays the game like a dream.

when ur in frameskip 3 the game is literally skipping frames and when u fire ur gun or hit the attack key between skips it may take a split sec to show, or ive noticed that if u attack during one of the 'skipped' frames it wont register. or atleast that what ive experienced. and now i dont use anything but frameskip 0 , if u havent yet just set the graphic settings a lil lower and use a lower skip. unless u really need the game to be pretty.. ull have to tuff it out
