Anyone know what Perori Mate does?

It seems to be something for CASTs, so probably a booster/healing item of some type and probably PM food as well.

yea but it only gives +4 striking +1 technique... same as a monomate... I wouldn't suggest making it as pm food...

Perorimate goes back to Phantasy Star II, where it was called Perolymate, and described as being a small cake with great nutritious value, apparently popular amongst under-sea workers, years upon years before Phantasy Star II takes place.

In PSU, it has apparently been reduced to a pill-form.

It actually goes back farther than that.

In the Japanese version of Phantasy Star I, Perolimate was a candy-bar/energy-bar type item which healed for 40 HP. In the US localisation of the game, the name was changed to "Burger" - apperantly to relate more to our "McDonalds" culture.

It made subsequent apperance in Phantasy Star II (as Meria said) and Phantasy Star IV durring the "Missing Student" Hunter's Guild quest.

(Cola's were called Ruoginin, but I haven't seen them in PSU yet)
