Good news and Bad news...about the Meetup vid.

Well, I finished decompressing the videos for the meetup...and well theres something I have to say.

Good news: I managed to record alot of the meetup. Lots of good footage.

Bad news: Its really bad quality, meaning that I had problems getting everyone loaded on the screen and well....the constant chat bubble spams. Thanks to Parn I was able to fix these problems...but it was too late pretty much...After I disconnected 4 times the meeting was almost over.

As you know we didnt really get to the individual shots although AC9 took a few and I thank him for that.

Now...I like to ask you guys what you think. Should I continue with making the music vid or wait til the EU release to make a vid?

Well with teh EU release, there will be twice as many people, plus way more chat spamming. I say do this one [or not, whatever you like] and we can try again with the EU release?

not sure, if it's really that bad then i say wait. this way the EU members can join in; however, I think we will need more room than the Parum west area has. Say on the scale of the first floor of Colony. That would also help spread out the chat spam hopefully.

I was actually thinking that myself. 1F colony is beautiful and right next to room so people can get to it. But its up to everyone to vote on it when the time comes.

Bad News: I got to get some wire replacements. to transfer it to the PC becuase there was a little short during conversion becuase of the Mac Guyver rig I did. So it's going to take me awhile till I get my next week's pay check. Ok, for the EU release, I do not vote on first floor Colony. I play on two different computers, one being not "super-hot" in the gfx dept. From what I notice, when I exit my room and there are an influx of people at the fountain, there is a good amount of slowdown. I believe a lot of people will have this problem when 80% of psow is there. Just wanted to throw that out there. ;P

I have video footage, just need a new bigger hd as mine is full, I'm hoping by next wed or so to have a new 500gig sata hd and also to have found a way to shrink rez or get premiere to not cut the edges of super high rez vids, also does anyone know if those "HOV" (i think thats what it says, i can't check, at class) setting in the graphics options are number of fully rendered models? if so I'll be able to load alot more characters on screen since I have a high end system I made about a month before the game was released http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif so I'll be able to record the next event hopefully too
