Im sure that you have seen it, that little red and gray symbol to the left of a piece of clothing's name, what does it mean?

I think it has to do with the colors of the clothes.

Yea, it's the two colors of the clothing. In case you have multiple versions of the same shirt/pants/shoes

The symbol you are refering to is the one to the right, I talking about the one to the left.

The colors are displayed on the right side of the item's name. It's the left one that kinda looks like an up/down red/gray arrow that he's curious about. I am as well.

These are on the left side, before the name. It looks like a little diamond, with the top or bottom being red and the other grey or black or such. The clothing color are on the right.

While making a character I saw them (I think that's when it was) and I came to the conclusion they had to do with meaning they're incompatable with some other things.

i think its compadibilitys as well. in the parum shop there is a top that you cant wear one of the bottoms with.

Its just the item icon... like how diff weapons have diff icons. This two toned diamond means its clothing. There is a different logo for cast parts I believe.

BUt I could just be pulling it out of thin air... that's what I thought it was.

I sort of thought it might be to tell you if the item is common and used alot or not, but I don't think that's right.
