Will I be able to use my Force as a damage dealer 50+?

It seems like people are saying that Forces are going to fall into the strict healing positions. It already seems like that when I join parties, but the other people don't realize -- we get no XP for healing.

Then when I try and hit something with Diga, a Hunter uses Rising Strike and knocks it out of my path. (Or kills it before my Diga hits it.)

When I use Barta, I might be able to hit two targets, but it also doesn't do that much damage.

So will I be able to use my Force as a main damage dealer past 50? Or will I be forced into healing? (No pun intended. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif )

You may not get exp for healing, but you can tag enemies with debuffs once they become available.

Sure, of course. You don't have to stick to healing. As the updates bring in new PAs (I know 360 has the Shifta PA for forces already, which is an attack buff I believe), you can heal and buff yourself, all while doing BIG elemental damage. You don't have to be anyone's particular support, but rather, just support yourself. =)

No we don't. The Xbox 360 has the same content as the PS2/PC servers.

If your party members are any decent, you shouldn't have this problem. get some friends together amd do some quests, you'll do much better. And if your worried about XP, get Radiga. It explodes and will hit several enemies. And remember, just one hit will get you XP http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif I ussually come into a battle using this, and after I've hit most of em I use Foie to do my max damage. And if people are being gay, and are yelling come heal me and stand in one spot fourty yards from you, or stay in the midst of 5 enemies, let em die. Teach them a lesson that you can't do it all. If they really want healing they'll come to you. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Don't worry, the only thing that can outdamage a force is beast mode http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

1. Raise your Diga to the maximum strength, as in get it to level 20 and upgrade whatever staff you have. I do 600+ per diga on basically anything including bosses, 900s on electric property monsters using my Cane +4, with a total of 1305 TP with it. You don't need to have it that high of course, but yes this out-dps anything single target http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Except Beast Mode. Just be quick and precise with those Digas http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

2. Get Razonde 20, you'll show your awesome power in Grove of Fanatics A http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif Trust me!

well those are my main 2 damage techs, just use these two skills to the full potential and you will be THE damage dealer. Also I have them on seperate weapons and I put radiga/zonde together so they get a 4% bonus.

But anyhow, now that I am done leveling, I make all of my rods/canes holy with only resta/reverser, run around the battles like an idiot spamming heal/anti whenver I see that somebody needs it and annoy the heck outta the other forces because they don't have opportunities to cast resta themselves http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, right now I am playing Force and Im level 42. My group almost always do Temple A now and that place requires alot of healing and reversing. I never had to really stay in the healing position in all the fights. What I do is I damage deal until I see someone is in danger of dying. I quickly find the person and switch to my wand while I do so then heal and reverse and switch back to my damaging spells. Sometimes I wait 10 secs before switching back because you never know when those bots will explode on you. I end up keeping up to 2-3 Healing Wands to make sure my party is stable.

I guess what I am trying to say is Force's damage is way too valuable to just toss aside for a healing position. Sure, Force ability to heal is very useful, but their damage helps just as much. Also the burden of healing might be lifted a bit when Expert Classes come out (Guntechers and Wartechers will more than likely have resta to heal).

You haven't reached your full potential as a force. Just and wait till the lv 30 techs are available. Oh I will not use this game's deband for any reason, I will be using the tech that's equivalent to PSO's Jellen, lowering enemy attacks.

alternate a strong pistol with your spells and get your exp off bat with the pistol shots then resort to strong spells

thats how I use my FO and I collect all EXP on most cases

Retial? You mean Rentis? (or are you using JP version and they use a diff name?) What spells does online have so far? I I could tell you which to use, since I'm a huge force fan, if I knew that info.

Shes right. Even as a baby force, using razonde in the temple is a big help to your party. smacking those blue robots before they can fire fireballs is always a good thing.

Even though I just became a force, I like the fact that I can heal/ do alot of damage. My parties are usually people who aren't dumbasses that stand in front of the dragon when it takes it 5 seconds to turn its hea,d look at you, then blow fire.

So when they get hit, I don't mind healing. I actually just tell them gather after the mobs die to get healed and ready for the next mob.

I love killing enemies from far away with the Nos spells (good for bad aimers too). Bet they'd be good online (if they're available) since everyone seems to say hunters kill the enemy before forces get to it.
