Help with rangers.

I'm having a horrible time with my level 27 CAST Ranger. I love to use bows but they take too much PP. Guess I can't have an archer. I seem to struggle at missions all the time. Any suggestions to being a ranger? Like

Should I stick with bows or not? If not what should I use?

What ranger PP art is useful? (what element)

Uhm, offline is tough, with Ranger.
I always liked using Rifles and Twin Handguns..
Stock up on Photon Charges.
And use Photon Arts, depending on the element of the enemy you're fighting.
Fire > Ice, etc.

CAST has best ATA, and 2nd best ATT.
So they're highly suggested...
For everything else, I don't know.

Elements vary depending on the situation.
Use Fire against Ice, and vice versa.
Use Lightning against Ground, and vice versa.
Use Light against Dark, and vice versa.
I personally focus on Ice since it stops enemies entirely, but Lightning is also very good.

Offline, ranged weapons go through ammo very quickly. You will need to take advantage of PP-efficient weapons and Photon Charges. I personally recommend that you have a Handgun/Dagger or Crossbow/Dagger combo as your last resort palette, since it rarely runs out of ammo.

Too bad they didn't up the offline factor in this game...o well you know how Sega (or ST?) is. So rangers are pretty bad offline...probably erase him to make another character.

I liked Hunter, the most, offline.
Took a HU beast to lvl68^^
Maxed on Knuckles and Single-Claw..
Love the Single-Claw PA. Nice damage.

hmmm...could make a CAST hunter. Or go back to a crappy ranger and be a newman this time. Either way I'm still stuck with boring offline. *yawns*
