The Subject says it all....I was just wondering if our Characters would get those sexy looking clothes that I see on PSUPEDIA.ORG's clothing lists?

IE: The Bikini's http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The thing I was most disappointed with about PSU was the character models and clothing. Sure it's a little more detailed and varied than in PSO but the costumes in PSO had such a great feel. Not to mention the hair styles. I wanted to make a HUnewearl similar to one I had back in the Dreamcast days and I just wasn't satisfied. So what I'd appreciate most, (well over bikinis,) would be the old costumes/hair styles updated for PSU a bit. I can understand if PSU is supposed to be a different timeline or whatever, but most of us probably bought PSU because we loved PSO so much, and I'd really enjoy being able to bring back some of the feel my old characters used to have.

It would have been so awesome if they had the clothing setup like in Need for Speed Carbon where you can adjust the parts of the car however you like. You know, adjust the parts of the clothing, add designs to it, uniquite patterns and colors, etc. I mean heck, they did that with the Chromehounds Parts so why not PSU?

I haven't played that but I hear what you're saying. It definately does feel like they could've done a little more with the clothing. Like in PSO I liked the idea that some of the characters (like hunters and rangers) had like almost space gear on, whereas now if feels more like trendy futuristic street clothes.

I think thats what they were going for. Cause now that armor is merely lights on clothes they can wear comfortable clothes instead of bulky uncomfortable armor.
...sexy?

The whole premise is that the photons are built into th cloth and it generates aforce field around you so no real armor is needed. That being said i wouldnt mind some throw backs i like the bracer on the moatoob sterter shirt and all but a bit morewouldnt hurt.I tho do liek soem of the designs might no suit my character but i like em,personaly i want a jacket for mine and soem heavily pocketed pants he is a tinkerer dangit i gotthe goggles so far http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I kinda miss good old-fashioned body armor.

A friend of mine noted that the Japanese tended more towards 'cute' than 'badass'. Badass is really a North American thing... or at least what we perceive as badass is a North American thing. But basically my complaints about the hero in FFXII and the characters in PSU all being 'surfer dudes' kinda stands

I'm a BOUNTY HUNTER. Even if there's no armor, give me the leather jacket and bandoliers of ammo, the armored gloves and the heavy boots and whatnot. I want kit that looks like it could take a bullet WITHOUT the damn force field!

Yes, so do I, but I also want to put them on a character who looks like a huge mincing flamer.

For some reason it suits him.

The outfits in the top row is what I will be wearing. Haven't decided on color yet but it's likely it'd be the one close enough to atleast a white-ish theme. The other outfits look really stupid.

theres some clothing that will be added later on that looks a bit like armor (like the female stuff silhouette just posted)

I currently hate the line-up of clothing for ladies at the moment, but I love the female Cast armor so I made one of those. She's mega hott http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I really wish they'd have some sexier outfits for the guys. Right now I have mine just running around in his underwear. It's ok but I wouldn't mind having some hot short-shorts like the clothes they have for women.

I'm not holding my breath tho. Sexy clothes for guys would require the video game industry and it's user base to grow up a whole lot and I don't see that happening in my life time.

Maybe it is because I havent seen any of the higher lvls, but do the armors have effects? Like the smoking plake or the blessing armor?

Or like in WoW or in ffxi, do the armor changes ur cloths? I mean not the changing the light colors, but it be cool it u get a new part and the design has a new look. Or the stripes change dircetions/pattern.

From the PSUpedia page, they already have some sexy clothes for guys in the works. The speedo for one, as well as the open jackets that lack a shirt underneath http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

Short shorts would be a good inclusion though...

Ditto, some of the stuff on Psupedia i like, but not a single entire outfit do i like, so i try to mix em together but then run into problems with color >.>

I am so buying those for my male character when they come out. A jacket with no shirt under it + a speedo instead of pants would be so funny to battle in. Plus I made my male toon extra tall so you will be FORCED TO LOOK. Tiny midget characters might want to cover their eyes. XD bwahahahhaha

The pimp hat doesn't exist in PSU ;p.

The units like the HP restore gives the visual regen effect but that's it.
