laser cannons and grenade launchers

anybody know when were gonna get these? also, has anyone used them in the jp version? if so, how do they compare to the other guns?

go to youtube.com and search psu there a jap person usin a g launcher... fires slow as hell and far but does major damage he was lvl 40 sumthin hittin at 250 per shot

Grenade Launchers fire in much of the same way as Diga does....except it isn't a glowing dirtball and when the grenade hits the group it has this visual shockwave graphic come out of the impact site.....though I am pretty sure that the shockwave doesn't do anything in the way of damage.

In general however, Launchers will serve for rangers in much the same way as diga does for forces.....and in the same vein Cannons will serve rangers just like barta or zonde do for forces (it's a linear AoE attack, Think PSO's Guilty Light, Photon Launcher, Red Scorpio, etc).

One thing should be pointed out though...while the ranger attacks will minic force attack patterns, the respective bullet arts that you can attach to them will give them much more potential utility....since in that case you're not limited to only Lightning or Ice Linear attacks (potentially) as an example.

There may be a "very old" post on here from one of the very first JP Importers that did videos of his extra mode antics including 1-30 spells and differences in skill and bullet arts. If you're not able to find it here, then as the other poster said, youtube might be in order (at least you can get it in bits and pieces).

Yeah if the bullets on it is true (can't see why it wouldn't be) then that's gonna be awesome for us red headed step children.
