Crossbow, usually paired w/ a dagger. Great damage (more damage than shotguns), multiple target capabilities, ammo efficient, and strafe-shooting capabilities? It's godly.

Spears it started years ago with a book I read
Plus Spears are usually badass( multiple enimies + good damage)
And they aren't as popular as swords so I feel more unique when I compare to others
