Where are the ranger weapons?(EXTRA MODE)

Where can i buy ranger weapons for my female cast ranger in extra mode,i can't find any shops that sell any of the longer range guns,i'm only on the 1st mission of chap 5,do i need to get to the shops on one of the other planets to buy ranger gun or can i synthis a larger gun if so how?I have found loads of matearils but have no idea how to use them to make stuff.

The shops only update if you progress through story mode more.

So how far do i need to progress to get better ranger guns?i'm wanting a rifle or shotgun at least.

Hmm, Blaster, the weakest rifle, becomes buyable in extra mode after you complete chapter 5 if I am correct, and Shigga Wadda, the weakest shotgun, becomes after you complete chapter 6.
