PSU: Are s-ranks kinda like the s-ranks in PSO?

I just wanted to know if the s-ranks are like the s--ranks in PSO where u have to do challenge mode to get these very valuable weapons. Are they as valuable in PSU? Or, are they kinda just like a better rare weapon like daylight scar for example or lavis cannon.

They're the highest class of weapon, only expert types can use them, and for many, only one expert type.

They're nothing like the S ranks of old.

See, weapons are given different ranks. The better the weapon, the higher the rank. Starting weapons are C rank, for instance, while the best stuff is S rank.

ya and all weapons can still only grind to 10

hehe BeeYee, only 10 grinds...I don't have the guts to go past 5 and those are days when I'm feeling overly happy.
