Quite possibly the 2 most addicting games ever concieved. I'm curious, how many PSOers play DDR too?

DDR is excellent not as good as frequency but DDR has better music

no you use the controller but since it was designed to be played with a controller it feels more natural but i tell ya you better have some fast reflexes cause you some songs you diebefore the first track is done LOL

I'm in San Angelo TX right now, which sucks a lot. It sucks even worse because they have NO DDR machines within 10 miles of Goodfellow AFB it seems. I hate most of the DDR music, but it's a fun game. I have it at home (but don't practice much 'cause my cheapo third party pad sucks... gonna mod it soon), and I play it at the arcade when I get a chance. Too bad I kinda suck at it.

I watch those hardcore DDR players sometimes, with my mouth hanging open. It's madness.

DDR is a level of gaming geekdom i hope to never be part of... i would have to be drunk off my ass to even think about putting quarters in that machine...

i'm the f*cker with the cup of draft, playing snk vs. capcom 2 next to the machine, blowing unfiltered cigarette smoke next to DDR...

Whatever.. Thanks for contaminating my thread with stereotyping and bigotry. Its one thing to say "I don't like DDR or its music", but another to insult others for playing it. So sorry I don't get the same rush from playing Super Ultra Street Fighter 5 Turbo vs. The Universe ver 7.2384b.

On a side note, I don't do drugs, and never will. I love DDR because its challenging in the harder songs on maniac/ssr, and its the only real physical activity I'm good at since I'm allergic to just about everything on earth and could never enjoy sports. Doesn't help that I'm a skinny mofo either on the sports part.

And you enjoy your DDR Max to the Supah Challenge 2 million ++ Beatmania Tron... I'm hopin DDR dies and quick b4 our society plummets even lower. Anyways, it's just my opinion so no need to get upset... But just look at most DDR fanatics and you'll see the stereotypes are generally spot on :/ Trust me on this my ex girlfriend turned into one... wow big change in appearance..

Would you care to explain these "stereotypes?" I haven't seen a single stereotype regarding DDR players... The thing about "a buncha acne ridden DDR players" isn't even a stereotype as I've only heard it once and it was from you.

To not like DDR, is an opinion, which I respect. Voicing an opinion is one thing, but what ChokingVictim did was uncalled for. S/he doesn't like the game so s/he said so, but to say that one would have to be "loaded" to listen to the music was uncessary.

Yes ^_^ And at least with DDR they add new play mechanics with new releases (freeze arrows, varying tempo within songs, heartbeat, MAX/Oni mode) instead of just more backgrounds and characters that use the same damn moves as the first 12 or so original ones.

I ordered DDR USA MAX today with hopes of a better song selection that the first DDR USA ... Man did that one suck. I was too lazy to research the song list, and supposedly it has 20 songs not released in Japan (ha yeah right) so I wouldn't know about them anyway. I just hope its not too easy. I just want to play DDR again ... I haven't in like 4 months now.
