Armors are supposed to be harder to make than weapons. Considering everyone wheres one armor but carries at least 3 weapons and up to 6 (not counting the multiple weapons combinations.)

This is segas way of telling you "No matter what you do, making armor will be hard."

Because that's what a pure armor build becomes. A range specialist. It'll have higher than normal rate of creating armor than other armor PMs (eg: pure range,strike, and tech) but interms of PMs out so far sega has dubbed the pure armor build as the range specialities. I mean seriously what did you expect your PM to involve into. A loli in a gift box that hurls random armor from your inventory at your opponent? (xD)

I am at level 70 with my PM (not as pure as I wanted it to be) and I have spent about 2 weeks feeding regularly. So I'd say give it 3 weeks for an easy Striking PM and if you want something more pure, it's gonna take a LOT more Patience, a LOT more Meseta, and a LOT more thinking.........unfortunately http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
