Last question I promise http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

Is there an offline multiplayer mode in PSU? (Like the 'up to' four player GC PSO had)

Or is is strictly single player off-line, and also, can you take your off-line extra mode char online?

Thanks,

LG.

-PSU doesn't have multi-offline.
-Offline is offline only - your memory card. Your online characters are saved on the server.

Ayew, in the future.. look at the back of the box.. if it doesn't say split screen (for 360 anyway) then it means that it's either system link (in which each person requires their own 360, and on the same network) or it's online multiplayer.

I still think it's a great shame that you cannot level up your 'Extra mode' Char offline, and then take it online - it would make grinding easier, and also would mean that even when you were offline you still were building up your avatar.

Still that's only one opinion and of course I'm sure plenty of you out there would disagree.

Hmm yeah just because difficulty and droprate are totaly differente so, i dont think they can do that.
And there is the level cap etc ...

It's done this way for the prevention of cheating.
If you should know, offline is already hacked.

I have to say I wasn't aware that the offline mode had already been hacked, but thanks for the explanation, which I guess is understandable, - gives Sega full control over what happens online.

Still I should be getting my region free xbox copy tonight (an Ebay purchase) - so I will have to stick with 'practising' in offline mode ready for the real thing (24th UK/Euro). I was hoping to level up offline until the Euro Gaurdian licenses were up and running.

Never mind, eh http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif
