View Full Version : Where are all the other TECHNICs? Any faster way to make me

I'm guessing the answer to this is that I have to find them, but I'll never know unless I ask...

Where area all the other TECHNICs? The only ones I can buy in the stores are the basic and ra-versions. I'm guessing I can't synthesis them, right? I'm basically asking where I can get the other ones, I'm sick of missing the enemies with the ra technics, and I'd like to get a different type of attack.

Also, is there any quicker way to make meseta in this game? I opened a shop and I bring in some meseta there, but the only other way I know to do it is to complete missions, and those take a while. I guess I really can't make any money in the shop until I start finding better items later, but if there is a secret then please let me know about it.

And just to make things clear, I'm not asking for a hack of any sorts, so I don't want to hear any accusations from anyone...I'm mainly referring to one person, but he shall remain nameless.

Thanks!

Okay
The first question, Next update, or the one after that. I've heard we get the Gi- tech's next update, so i got my fingers crossed, i'm a force too and i realy want these.
The second question, no real other way, missions all day is good money. Or just farming C missions over and over. Shops do good, selling excess synth items does good, I keep only 25 of each synth item i get, anything over i sell.
And while you waiting for update, I've just been skilling the magics I have, so far I only have Diga cappped (which is a 20 for all Techs). And planning to be a Fortetecher, so I got lots to do, work on your job level. Or even if you get bored, make a new character, still 3 more races and 2 more classes you havnt tried, and their all pretty much fun. It's said teh update will be before December 15th(correct me if im wrong) we should have 2 updates by then, says ST. And i've heard one comming this week (i dont believe rumors, so im not getting my hopes up)
Hope this helps

I dont think Gi spells are gonna be that good but I still would like to have them, its gonna be major hell to lvl those techs up tho, 1/2 the rate of Ra spells and 2x the PP cost.....

Todays goal is get barta and rabarta to lvl 11 wich I am very close.

For money I have been doing many relic C runs over and over again and its also my tech lvling area as the mobs there take pretty good damage from any school of magic we have right now and are in large groups.

2 hours of farming today when I get off work and I will have enough money to make my PM lvl 80 then I can have a friend keep me company on my many runs http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

ooooh, I didn't realize it wasn't even in the game yet haha http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

yeah, I've never raised a force before in any Phantasy star game, so that's what I'm doing now. I just hate the way I'm always missing and waisting PP, in PSO it was soo much easier to hit monsters with technics....maybe it's just that these monsters move around too much haha.

I guess I could always just grab a huge party and farm C levels...I mean if all I want is to fly through it and if I dont' care about exp or items that would be a great way to get money! ...hmmm, but if anyone died that would fook up the rank... : oh well, if there is no other way.

btw, any items in particular that are hot items? If I can figure out the market in the game, then perhaps I can make enough money in my shop. Any particular price guideline I should follow? This is how I've been setting prices:

either half of what a store charges for an item, or 10 times the selling price if I sold it to a store. I don't think that is very competitive though, and I know people shop around, that's all I do in fact. I search for the item I'm looking for and go to every shop in the results comparing prices, so I'm sure other people do that too. Any suggestions for setting prices?

I don't really know about how powerful they are as I really didn't pay all that much attention to the damage numbers, but just seeing Gidiga Lv. 21+ used in front of you is a sight to behold:

The Kamotozes use Gibarta if you stay too close to them for too long, the whole screen practically fills up with blue ice if you're on top of the mob.

Kagajibari also does Gi spells....I've seen Gifoie on him when I made him Fire based. Too bad it did him no good when I killed him for the 50th time.

Actually, I'm somewhat certain given how long it lasts that it's actually Dambarta that they're casting.

it takes awhile to get the aiming down on the spells. If all else fails either go straight up to the monster and shoot or carry alot of rods/canes @_@

How do I read that chart on leveling up Technics PSUPedia has up? Does each number represent how many monsters I need to defeat before getting to the next level? (IE at level 11, I will need to defeat 610 monsters total)? And what are patterns

if you play through story mode after you beat it you can buy all the techs and experament with them so you dont waste the money on them in the online game.

yes the gi spells get pretty impressive lvl 21+ but the 1-20 is not so great (esp not 1-10) its a point black spell that means you need to be ontop of a mob, it hits 6 targets and does less dmg than a ra spell (per mob) but cost 2x the PP.

So for it to really be effective you need to hit 5 or 6 guys with it, wich will be very hard untill its lvl 21+ and still it will eat your PP alive.

You ever tried to heal one of those dual dagger hunters that run into a group of mobs and spam the PA skill? Thats a force trying to lvl the Gi spells http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif only you have less hp and defense.

I think it will be the uber farming tool, say going into a B rank mission, letting everything swarm you since they do almost no damage and then fry them all with 2 or 3 cast, but for any actual high difficutlty game I dont think that being near 6 guys will happen and for the same reason its hard to lvl or use Ra spells to much (PP use) the Gi spells will only do that worse, and also require nearly 2x more hits to lvl up.

Its been awhile since that last post of mine http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/anime1.gif I was posting about how I was just about to get my PM and just got barta 11 on the parum relics http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Now I am lvl 46, have all the spells to a good lvl (except zonde) and my PM is always by my side.
