One of the things I usually do to pass time at work is make sigs for people, I did alot of them for Battlefield 2142. When I found out PSU was out I all but abandoned that game.

One of the important things with sigs is a good variaty of fonts. However I wanted the PSU font that you see everywhere (that I can not hardly read but having it on the computer may help me learn it)

I have seen one or two people that use this font in there sig, so where the heck did you get it?

I cant find it anywhere, tried looking on google, and tried various main font sites.

No luck..

So anybody want to point me in the right direction?

Lol I couldnt eather, I had to walk up to the npc and talk to them, or get close to the zone so that the pop-up comes up that tells you where your about to zone into.

Some stuff is not that bad like Nav, or even Kesara but try my forum name ViciousXUSMC in that font and even me knowing what it is could never figure it out.

The PSO font was just about readable, but the PSU font is just weird and stupid... o_O

The Neudaiz font is not Japanese. It's a derivative of Japanese which uses various radicals from Japanese kanji, but none of the characters actually mean anything outside of the Roman letters they are meant to represent.

i got bored waiting for PSU so i just decided to learn how to read the Parum font, still get stuck on some letters like g,u,v cause they're the same with only slight variations. but i can read it pretty well, just don't need to since the shops are colored

Knowing a small bit about caligraphy (sp), I thought that the text at Neudiaz looked funny....that seems kind of wasted to go thru to whole business of modding the japanese language just so you could have kanji represent letters when you could of gotten away with Kata or Hira to do something of the same thing. Besides, not really sure how many ppl in the states would really appreciate the effort...or for that matter even in Japan.

Same here. I have very little trouble reading the Parum typeface, and I'm getting better with the Moatoob one. I know a few letters from the Neudaiz font, but I'm not about to try to memorize them all! XD

I know what you mean. I like the idea of them putting that much into it, but there probably aren't too many people in any region that really appreciate it.

Thanks for the link. My signature now looks much cooler if you have those fonts installed. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

It seems like we don't have a font tag to play with here, but our signatures accept styled spans.

The problem is people have to have the font installed. And if anybody is like me, they only load fonts on an as needed basis

Yeah I wouldnt use the font for my sig, i can barly read it myself I just want to be refreshed on style tags.

I spread my knowledge so thin somtimes I forget stuff.

learning japanese on my own, learning html on my own, learning computer programing on my own, learning computer hardware (my specialty) on my own, ect ect.

Add that and a full time job, a nagging wife, and 3 kids and you forget things http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif styles are infinitly usfull in web design, can do alot but nto nearly as complicated as java stuff.
