Plus more uptake I guess, what with PC servers being linked to PS2's.

Xbox 360 of course!!, I think the 360 community will be stronger than the PC/PS2 over time what with the up coming EU release. Also the fact that all my friend will have it on 360 http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

When people get bored of Gears and COD3, theyll go back to PSU because it is a fun game to play http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hopefully this EU release will bring at least 1k+ players to the game. Tired of seeing all the universes so empty already.

I suggest you guys go PC, even if you don't have the power to boot. One, you can screenshot. Two, you can listen to your MP3s while playing the game (unless you prefer the in-game music, which isn't all that nice). Three, you can use the mic just like the 360 version by using TeamSpeak or Ventrillo. Lastly, four, you CAN use the gamepad, which doubles up like a PS2, but better.

PS2 has lag time anyway, and 360 users have a bad community compared to us.

That, is just a suggestion.

Well I have already pr-orderred my PC copy, as I suspect my m8's won't be on x-box live, they are presently embedded in WOW on pc.

My pc card is a Nvidia 6800gt so shld be okies.

Thx for the tips Ryuki, it's going to be a tuff shout where to settle, that's for sure!

Currently playing on the PC.

It'll be nice to see some more folks on at more GMT friendly times.

6800 GT hm? I'm on a 6200, playing on:

680x420 Resolution
Low End Graphics

It runs rather fast for me with such an outdated card, so perhaps you might be able to play 800x600 without any "sluggish" time. You'll know what I mean, so ask me if you need help configuring once you get the game.

Hater? I was going to get it for PS2, but I wanted to screenshot for all kinds of purposes. PS2, I can't do that, and there's lag time. The only benefit from it, in MY opinion, is the higher resolution being that you're playing on a huge TV.

And, I was never one for the 360 community, since they're CUT OFF from the PC/PS2 community. Sure, there's a lot of 360 fans and players, BUT, not all of them are PSO/PSU fans. In fact, wasn't the community declared dead, for PSU? =P

I just think it's an awful shame all servers are not linked...it wld be great to have all PC,PS2 and 360 peeps all together....certainly wld end some of the ghost server probs...

Never mind, eh http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

I agree, however.. 360 users tend to harass a little too much (as heard from those who play on 360. Namely girls, to be specific), and also seem to be rather cocky/more rude (as experienced while playing on Live on other games on my friend's 360).

So, maybe Sega did good in doing that part =X

You can make screen shots off of consoles, of course that requires some PC card of some sort (don't care about screenies myself).

And as far as the community goes, most agree the two communities are near equal in size. Not to mention we get to play with the 5 JP players that will get the 360 version without having to play the JP version of the game. You can't top that.

Oh yeah, and we don't have Broomop. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Ps2 version for me. Cause its the version I like the most. Oh and the lag is mostly on older ps2 models. I have a slimlined one and I havent felt any major lag when playing the Story Mode/Extra Mode In the US version. I can barely wait til the European release so that I can Smash some seed Online http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif.

I have all 3 systems. Which platform I will be on will depend on what my friends get. Some also have an XBox360, some don't. Some may get it, some may not. Also, I am still not sure if I will take it online. (see comments in other topics, specificaly in the cheaters topic group)
If I don't go online, I think I will like the XBox360 one best. Playing from my comfy chair without worrying if my old PS2 will survive another month.

About the XBox360 audience being better/worse: I remember similar concerns when FFXI came out for XBox360. Now that it has been there for a while the expected problems seem to have simply not happened. I heard of attitude problems with PSO-XB players, but this problem was hardly noticable on FFXI. I think there will be some annoying people in the XBox360 audience, just like there are on PC/PS2. However, from what I know now it won't be too different.
