Soloing Demons Above A as a force?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows what would the best way to solo it as a force? I'm wondering, because I've seen a lot of forces in their own parties soloing it, and I can't figure out how. Can anyone help?

I just used my PM for the first time today and wow she is good (GH-410) she does sick damage and has great defense to attacks, even before I have lvled her battle skill up she attacks on a regular basis if I get her close to enemies and uses PA's alot I bet with her and some lvls I can solo B/A rank stuff but at a slow rate.

However my NPC is Maya since I am a newman and she is about worthless, she hardly ever attacks even when close to a mob, her only good quality is that she heals on a pretty regular bassis but her defense/hp is so low that if you dont baby sit her constantly she will die easy, wish means your doing more healing than you would with just you and the GH410 so if you have her as your NPC I say your at a disadvantage vs sombody with a meele NPC that does damage and probably has much better defense and hp.

once your lvl 50 and have job lvl 10 you dont have to worry about rank so much so even if you wanted to let your PM do all the work and just play healer if she dies a few times its no big deal you will get A rank but still get all the items http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I will try solo A rank Onma for the Me/Quick and maybe Rainbow Beast for the Gi/Magic (I hear it drops in all ranks, but I would guess much more often in a harder rank)

yeah hunter has an advantage on that fight, a spear can hit him multiple times (and almost any boss) while our spells no longer hit multiple parts (for no reason at all, they hit multiple mobs... common!) if spells could do what they used to I think we would be on equal footing.

I can solo the mission before him, but I can't kill him.

Oh well, it's not like a Me/Quick will ever drop for me, lol.

Well if any of ya'll wanna farm Onmagodwhatishisname and want a Hunter to come along, you can always have me be your body guard. All I ask is for any weapons a Guntecher can use, and any traps that drop. Assuming they do drop on that guys route. I've not done his route enough to know what drops and what doesn't yet.

You can keep yer Me/Quick and other stuff. I just want guns 'n shi*bleep*.

I'm crossing my fingers that we don't already have the ranger/force AI update that the Japanese servers got. Maybe with that, Maya won't be completely worthless, and the ranger PMs will be more comparable. I solo'ed Onma B a few days ago, but there's no way I'd last long enough to dodge all the lightning on rank A (is there any trick to that?). Maybe when I get closer to 50 (only 35 now). I don't know about others but as a hunter I was able to solo it at 37. The tenghou things will pose a serious problem with thier high HP for a force. I suggest trying this at about 30, and that's assuming that you want to solo the C rank like I did. Just suggesting lower level because you're all obviously stronger than any class in the game. B and A solo, I can't imagine it being possible unless you're 50. And doing it with a PM/NPC does not count because you're not 'solo'.

Takes too long to be worthwhile solo IMO. FO damage sucks on everything but worms and ollakas due to high MST. MUCH faster as a HU.

A force soloing Onmagoug? Sounds ridiculous...

I've been studying Onmagoug's AI for a bit and I believe that it would be an endurance battle if a force were to fight Onmagoug with Onmagoug more or less winning because he flies.

Force vs Onmagoug : Take your bow out, make sure to go close enough so your PM and NPC engage him, and resta as needed to make sure no one dies.
I might have a few advantages over regular FO, since I'm Beast, I have Leo (useful NPC, who nanoblasts), I have my own Nanoblast when needed, the highest ATP (short of male beast) to go with my bow, which does roughly 190 per arrow on onmi.
But it would certainly be possible with any race if you play archer with freeze arrows; that +19% ice damage against him really helps, if you use a 5-6 star bow =D
Then again, my only techniques are Zonde/RaZonde, which deals about ... 2 points of damage per cast, so I have to take my lancata and bow out against him, no matter what http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

The reason I ask is because I use an Alteric (6* Kubara bow) and with level 10 Reisei-sou, my arrows do something in the low 200s as a female Newman.

I use the 5* one, level 10 Reisei-sou, I have the - ATP, + ATA item so that I can actually hit stuff. My ATP as FO7 Beast50 just hit the 300 mark, and the bow is not grinded.
Bear in mind, I JUST got the 90 ATA needed to use it, when I hit Beast 49.. Female Beast Force = Worst. ATA. In the game.
Leading me to believe I couldn't use either the regular or Kubara version of the 6*, even if I had it =D
