Is it possible to use a different card for PSU than the one you use for Xbox Live?

You mean, have a Gamertag for PSU and a Gamertag for everything else? If so, yeah...but it'd be a pain.

NO i have a gmaertag, but the credit card for my gamertag is my moms and she isnt going to pay for psu, I am.

I think you should be able to if I remember correctly when you buy the licence it asks you if you want to use the card you have registered on your harddrive (the one paying for xbox live) or if you would like to use a different one. I used two different cards for my xbox live and for the licence.

Never gave me that option, but I wasn't reading very carefully so meh.

Just give your mom the 10 bucks every month. That's what I do.

I brought my licence from the market place, maybe you tried getting it directly from the game. In the market place it's under game and just look for Phantasy Star Universe and you should get the guide panel that asks you what card to use.
