i woulda figured that they'd do it at the same time as all the other bits that they shut down the servers, and thats 7pm to 12pm for me.

Lol, FFXII has been collecting dust. I haven't touched it yet because of PSU.

I'm assuming the update will take anywhere between 4-5 hours. For most online games, patching usually takes a couple of hours longer than regular maintenance times.(Excluding WoW, which takes a couple of 6 hours.)
