View Full Version : First Impressions of Moatoob so far?

From what I was able to experience in my "less than an hour" travel to Moatoob, I managed to develop some kind of liking to the planet. You have the mining-ish town, and then you have two areas. A rocky place, and a desert grave.

Those fire-breathing, orc-looking things in the rocky area are kind of cool. Of the humanoid creatures, I like that one the best. The horse-looking things are iffy, and the owl-looking things are scary.

As for the desert area.. those huge things are effin' cool! =O

Frankly, I don't like it.

Of course, since it's new, I'm sure most people will be there for a while, but in my opinion, Neudaiz and Parum are still better. And if we're talking about the way the cities look, Neudaiz is the best. Same with their areas. Goshins are just making everyone hate it... Anyway, Moatoob definitely seems more rewarding, despite my likes.

orly?

...i'm sorry, I just had to. lol

I thought they where kind of cute.

As for the Build-a-Bears... those are immensily cool, if a little annoying. Their size completly contradicts that agility and speed they have. >.>

I looked in the Tenora shop and laughed at the Twin Handguns they had. An easy 30-40 ATP upgrade to my current ones, but they have 500 PP as opposed to my Yohmei ones with 1200+. Thanks, but I still do 40/50 damage a shot so I don't need to upgrade. I'm satisfied as is. 'sides, it's like 8600 for them too. lol 8600 for a little bit of ammo sucks. Extra damage or not, they wouldn' even last one skirmish.

I'll admit that when it comes to looks alone, I don't care much for Moatoob. It's different, but I do prefer Neudaiz's look, as well as Parum. Mission wise? I did enjoy the sandy desert compared to Neudaiz' dead "parks".

Everything on Moatoob seems to have very low accuracy. For a newman force, it is paradise. I took maybe 1 hit in 20 on C-rank. Soloing there is a breeze for a force. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Soloing is so lonely though. Duoing, now that's, the new trend http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Maybe trioing. Maybe.

..Anymore than that, and it's PSO all-over.

i rather have my weapons have more PP than ATP, I do a PA almost everytime i finish a combo, i rarely just attack.

Yes, it must be because the wildlife is as slow as the Beasts they share the planet with. I'm not complaining. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I want some Totem Poles.. But only if the Stone Gray reform ticket is out.

...Because it would match, and look as sexy as Genobee piloting an AC. AC's are sexy. (No, not a homosexual comment, I was refering to AC's being sexy, not you =P)

Far as I'm concerned its the same from story mode with out the(SPOILERS)

Spiffy boss battle against the 3 Svaltus's with different weapons. First time I died in story mode was from that boss battle.

My first death was on Moatoob: Versus the 3x Grina Beats.

I liked it, I was a bit disapointed that the boss in the desert was reskin of OMG, but at least hes a bit tougher.

Honestly I like teh new planet, and I think its a bit more challenging than the others, except maybe Neu's temple.

Should pose as fun if I ever decide to get a party around my lvl.

Oh, and by the way, Armored Core = Best Mech Game series EVER. Last Raven = Love.

One thing is certain, for the horn dudes you really need to PA spam and that will require some good PA neglection with other monsters. The PP cube is a long way(being only at the boss gate). Of course one could go back to town but really.. Antimates are a big deal even with a force.

What're you babbling about? That's NightEye, not Zaku. Armored Core and Gundam are NOT the same thing >=/
