NPC's for use in EXTRA mode

While you progress through story mode you will have more npc choices for extra mode,can anyone list all the npc you can end up with and at what point do they become useable in extra mode.

One more question i notice that Karen been on my list since early on but i still can't get her to join me(i'm on chap 6 at the moment)so does she ever become a npc option?

Well, when you access your screen thing in your room, you get every NPC that you have in your PC list on story.

The last character you get is Lou, I believe, in chapter...8, was it?

I believe, IIRC, the list of NPC's are:

-Hyuga
-Karen
-Nav
-Maya
-Leo
-Tonnio
-Lou

EDIT: To answer your question, Karen doesn't become usable after that point, I think...Except in Extra, where you get to use her whenever you want...

Wrong. Karen becomes useable in extra mode once you 100% complete story mode.

(As in beat chapter 12)

you can also unlock your PM's card. in offline you have to get it to lv 30. then it evolves into some kind of battle droid. after that evolution he/she will give u there card and you can use it anytime.
