Well, according to the JP PSU wiki, 5*~7* for weapon/armor, and 6*~8* for weapon/armor synthesis boards.

Everything in the next update:
Weapons up to 6* for all manufacturers for lower class weapons
7* weapons for one manufacturer per weapon type. For example: Only GRM for 7* sabers, even though tenora and youmei make sabers aswell.
Boards up to 6* for all manufacturers for all lower class weapons
7* and 8* boards for one manufacturer per weapon type.

Armor up to 7* for all manufacturers
Armor Boards up to 8* for all manufacturers

Only one of each type of extended class weapon in shops.
7* and 8* boards for one manufacturer for extended class weapons.

Some new drops aswell, such as Harisen and Twin Harisen Boards.

being a force I'm actually curious as to what new spells will be avaliable with the next update.

ViciousXUSMC
Nov 20, 2006, 12:52 AM
yes i am hoping for the buffs/debuffs if anything. some of the damu and nosu spells would be great too. I dont think I will like the Gi spells much, low dmg, high PP cost. just more targets but you have to be close and it will lvl very slow.

Gi techs for the 4 main elements are added.

As well as 2 SUV weapons (I only remember the fire one, don't know what the other is)

And 2 new sets of clothing (One on Neudaiz, one on Moatoob)

aww only the Gi techs... I really dont care for those. I guess I may as well get them and use them, will be handy for lin line C runs with my PM to raise her battle skill up.

Most of the support techs (other than the damage barriers and the revive) came with the Episode 2 Chapter 3 update. This update also included the Damu techs, a 2nd PA for all melee weapons, light and dark bullets, 8* weapons/armor in shops, and 9* boards.

So here's a question: Do we get Giresta with the rest of the Gi-techs?

Any parts going to be released in the next update for casts? Starting to want more an more to make a new character just for the clothes.

ViciousXUSMC
Nov 20, 2006, 02:20 AM
is that the next update after the one we are execting in a week or two or much further down the road?

have a roadmap we can go see instead of interigating you constantly?

and that sucks.... being a force without your techs is like being a hunter without your PA's

I'm assuming yes since it says there are additions to clothes and parts

Heh, kinda makes sense. Those 'other manufacturers' only produce them up to 6*, so yeah.

Sadly no. Even after the update that included support Technics, there's still no sign of Giresta.

I heard the Gi Techs are insanely powerful making Ra techs so completely useless you might as well not learn them anymore.

Also, why would anyone want Giresta anyway? I never had an urge to use it since no-one ever dies, and if they do, they just ruined your mission rank. Plus, moon's are so easy to find it's silly.

Bah I was actually hoping we would get Giresta, but I'm looking forward to the Gi techs.

This is true, in offline Extra mode at least. The Gi- versions are much stronger than Ra- Technics, and are able to hit twice as many targets.

Gi techs are really dangerous though. Theres some places like Canyon 1, where its almost suicidal to use Gi-techs.

Becuase force techs create huge amounts of enmity which makes the enemies go for a fast break towards them correct?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not here, so I'll answer seriously.

PSU doesn't have an explicit aggro system; enemies just tend to go after whomever's closest or whoever hit them last. Since Gi-techs rely on you being right next to a bunch of enemies to be effective and late-game enemies can tear even Hunters apart in just a few hits, putting yourself in an enemies face with a Force is a good way to end up dead in record time.
