i have no clue what sword Ethan Waber is holding..I tried searching through guides and checking through item databases but not one seems to have it..anyone know what the sword is?

Maybe it's a weapon that didn't make the cut? I've seen pictures of it before, but it was ground instead of light in that pic, but all the pics of it are before 2006 and it's a quite and ugly sword is you ever see it's tip, so they must have gotten rid of it. I think it was gonna be the orginal GRM type because the GRM type now I don't remember seeing pictures of it until after 2006.

Here are more pics of it, both from 2005, but you can't find anymore pics of it after 2006, Also it's only a 2 star weapon because as you can see it's got the blue color also every other character in these pics are using 2 star weapons. So I think it was the orginal design for the GRM type sword but was dropped in favor of the GRm type we all know today.

That would be a bit of a waste of a perfectly good sword model, though, don't you think? I don't see how it couldn't have "made the cut". Even if your theory is correct and it was replaced by a different "default" GRM model, Sonic Team could have easily changed its stats and made it a rare of some sort.

I'm not sure if this theory is correct or not, but one thing that makes sense about it to me, is the symbols on the pallette all seem to be off the GRM versions of the weapons. The sword's symbol looks very much like this sword, not the round GRM one. Looks much more like this than the yohmei sword too.

Claisoloude/Cresaud - The one in the shots might be the real and not the replica version, but the handle can't be mistaken. Even though the fakes all have that blade imprint in the photon section.

You can make just about any weapon yellow...
The blade/photon color doesn't determine the value of the weapon, That's PSO.
The hilt and solid parts determine the weapon value.

PSO Photon Color Value: Green, Blue, Purple, Red, Yellow

PSU Solid Color Value: Red, Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, Purple


The weapon style determines what company it was made by.
This is the basic setup for all the basic weapons utill A & S rank.

GRM: RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE, PURPLE
Tenora Works: RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE, PURPLE
Yohmei Corp: RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, ORANGE, PURPLE

I doubt it's a creasuad because A. it's a 2 star weapon judgeing by it's blue markings on it. B. why would ethan be swinging an A rank around while everyone is still using 2 star C's? and C. thats far from Yohemi looking, it's more like a photon dildo.

Color doesn't necessarily justify the weapon value after B-ranks.
The manufactures style is unique, just like that "alpha sword" you see in the pictures.

This bow is blue yet it is a 9 star A-rank weapon. Why? Because its design style is one of a kind. After the series of colors the weapon changes its appearance once they reach A-rank. (Hence Rare/Unique)

I would guess it's either the A or S Rank Sword. Looks exactly like the sword icon in the action palette, and as far as I know we get a graphical upgrade from B to A and A to S, so this seems entirely feasible to me.

Its probably the creasword. cresaud is the Youmei version of it, creasword is the GRM version.
