View Full Version : Do you Rangers solo?

Hey, I was wondering about the soloing habits of fellow rangers. I solo but only C Rank missions [only 35], and was wondering if my brothers from other mothers try to solo later on or just settle into parties all the way.

I solo C moatoob for fast money. I'm lvl 42. Hopefully I can soon solo B more quickly, but it gets really really expensive. Bosses are easy enough on B, but getting there is boring and costly.

Perhaps after expert classes come out I'll have to focast for 3 job levels so I can be a guntecher. Either that or if they fix the resta gimp on 450s mine will be useful when done.

B takes forver to do on moatoob, those vandra's or whatever you call them just have to much hp

soloing C is always better than B, because it goes by much faster so you can finish it sooner and get the reward then start a new one

I'm level 26 and I do some solo on the C rank missions but it gets anoying having to run back for the PP stations so I usualy do parties.

I mostly solo stuff that is 10 or more levels under me. Other wise things just have to much hp and are not worth it.

Soloing Lab Recovery A is what I do mostly these days.

Soloing is perfectly alright, and very easy, as a Ranger. It's just a matter of patience and Meseta on-hand. Don't be fooled by huge costs to recharge, you generally pick up more than you spend.

I can solo B, If exit and recharge my guns every block or so. I bring my npcs too.. since I'm rank 10 it doesn't matter if I get lower rank due to npc deaths.

I tend to alternate between B and C.. the reason is B drops stuff like copernia and kerseline. I like that I don't have to compete with others for that stuff when I solo.

I think Im going to do a few more Dimma A runs so I will have 10 ranger then solo B with Lou. Also is the ranged PM awful at combat?

Maybe recharging every room for A, lol.

Yes 430 isn't great at combat, but it will get enimty and freeze so I bring it along anyways.

I solo on occassion, but it's a lot more fun and a lot quicker to party up. Especially if you have a shotgun-type weapon. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Elitist faggotry much?

If I were to blow off my extra money on guns, I could probably go through De Ragan A with ease by myself, maybe it would take a while yes, but definately not 3 hours.

i wouldnt do it with my hunter either heh, it takes to long and id make more money simply doing C's over and over, doing it as a ranger would simply be painfull

It most certainly wouldnt be pleasant but I wouldnt say painful [unless its a mission like Desert Terror, then its beyond hellacious]

I do agree with you on the C mission thing though, hooray for lab recovery C [nanocarbons marselines and zepotites noice].

I do plan on making a Protranser for soloing though.
