Extra Mode Questions

I've questions about the Extra Mode, specifically, whether or not rare enemies show up offline, and how to get a Neta Note offline.

I've heard from numerous sources that rare monsters do not show up in offline mode at all, and to be honest I've never encountered one - and if anyone did we'd probably all have heard about it by now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
