just for a heads up,this isnt a rant or a complaint, just simply something im wondering. ive been noticing that usually at night around 10pm or so (EST), i would often get DC on psu,anyone know why? im on ps2 btw

And he said he gets disconnected a lot, whats your point?

I have never been DC'd late at night...
Hell, that's the only time I'm ever on...

The only thing that sucks is that the servers tend to get empty late at night.
Hopefully the flood of EU players will fix this.

I never get disconnected and I'm from Australia. Maybe its your ISP.

10pm would probalby be a heavy load time, be it server or ISP it would cause more DC's

I am at work then and play at hours when not many people are on, also my isp is better than most.

Depending on your time zone, it's more than likely a problem on your side. At 10:00 PM central I actually stop seeing people skip around, so I doubt it's a server-side problem.

never had any problems no matter what time. if its a constant thing, disconnects that is. you should probably want to get that checked out.

Happens to me at night. Some times I'll get DC'd once or twice, some times it'll be smooth sailing all night. Not sure what causes it.

The only times I've been disconnected are when my ISP takes a dump on my connection. Well, and the other night when the whole of PSU crashed at like 2 in the morning then promptly returned online less than five minutes later but that was a bit random to say the least.

I've been getting disconnects alot too, since the update actually, it was at one point my wifi, which i've fixed, i can load a site, close browser, load psu, get disconnects repeatedly, close the game, then surf the web flawlessly, so its not my end, i think they effed up one of the whatevers that hold character data during maintenence as I've seen a few folks with this issue, i just hope its fixed thursday night...

It takes a lot of server power to make sure that male humans never get luck level 3!

Later at night aroun 9-11 is usually when online games are played most. At all other times of the day only Uni 1 is filled, around then both 1 and 2 are usually filled. Plus lately lots of people had to d/l the patch too so massive amounts of people d/ling could have pt more of a strain on the server.
